Our Team
Dr. Cato Laurencin leads our team of experienced researchers and developers as chair of the board. Dr. Laurencin is is the University Professor and Albert and Wilda Van Dusen Distinguished Endowed Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut. He is Professor of Chemical Engineering, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the school. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Connecticut Convergence Institute for Translation in Regenerative Engineering and the Director of the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Center for Biomedical, Biological, Physical and Engineering Sciences at UConn.
Cato "Ti" Laurencin serves as the President and Principal Scientist of Healing Orthopedic Technologies. He oversees the product development, funding, research,and commercialization of the company.
